The Salad Bowl

Fast, Fun and Fruity!

 Ingredients:
  • 1 banana
  • 2 handfuls of grapes
  • 1 1/2 peach
  • 8 strawberries
  • 1 can of Pineapple
  • 1 orange
  • 1 apple
  • 8 ounces vanilla yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon orange juice

Directions:
  1. Cut up the banana, peach, strawberries, orange and apple. Place all ingredients into a big bowl.
  2. In a smaller bowl, mix yogurt, honey and orange juice. Once mixed, pour into the fruit. Stir to cover all fruit.

Ingredients:
  • 10 ounce package salad mix
  • 15 cherry tomato but in half
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon pieces
  • 1 cup (your favorite) bite sized crackers
  • 3/4 cup tomato-bacon or ranch dressing


Directions:
  1. Mix the salad mix, tomatoes and bacon in a large bowl. Pour the salad dressing over and mix to coat evenly. Top with the crackers


Pasta Flea-Flicker

Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces dried tricolor pasta
  • Black, sliced and pitted, black olives
  • cherry tomatoes
  • 1 cup chopped fresh broccoli
  • Pepperoni
  • 4 ounces cubed cheddar cheese 
  • 1 cup Italian dressing


Directions:
  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions. Rinse with cold water and drain well. Put the pasta in a large bowl. 
  2. rinse and slice one can of olives (about 2 1/4 ounces), about 15 cherry tomatoes halved, broccoli, pepperoni and cheese.
  3. Pour the Italian dressing over the salad. Mix well so all is coated. Chill for 2 hours before serving.
