Popovers

Source: Noelle (Arizona)
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 Cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450º F. Grease and flour 6 six-oz custard cups. 
  2. In a medium bowl beat eggs lightly, beat in flour milk and salt until just smooth; being careful not to overbeat. 
  3. Fill custard cups 1/2 full. Bake at 450º for 20 minutes. Decrease oven temperature to 350ºF and bake for 8 minutes more. Immediately remove from cups and serve piping hot. (If not served immediately they will deflate very quickly.)
  4. Enjoy! :)

*Note: Popovers are a great quick and easy breakfast. And very tasty too! ;) Again, we double/triple this recipe as well.
