Kiss Cookies

Ingredients:
Directions:
1. Cream together sugars and butters.
2. Add egg and vanilla and blend well.
3. Combine flour, baking soda, cocoa and salt together in a separate bowl.
4. Slowly add flour 1/4 cup at a time until cookie batter is evenly mixed and colored.
5. Refrigerate for 1 hour.
6. Bake at 375 for about 9-10 minutes.
7. Immediately after cookies come out of oven press candy cane (or whatever flavor you prefer) into middle of cookie until edges crack. Let cool completely before transfering to wire cooling rack. Enjoy!

- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
