morning glory smoothie

Recipe adapted from: the Vitamix recipe book

Ingredients

  • 1 peeled orange
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened blueberries
  • 1 banana peeled
  • ice

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in your biggest blender
  2. Blend untill all ingredients are crushed and mixed together
Yields  3 1/4 cups
Note: the recipe also calls for 1/2 teaspoon of bee pollen, 1/2 teaspoon shelled hemp seeds, and 1/2 teaspoon lecthin granules. However, because we do not use it, I did not place it in the ingredients list. It tastes amazing without those ingredients anyways! Again, we don't follow the recipe on the dot (can you tell?) and just fill up our Vitamix. Enjoy!
