Honey-Mustard Vegetables

Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen loose pack vegetable or mixed vegetable bag*
  • 1/3 cup honey mustard dipping sauce
Honey Mustard Dip:
In a small bowl, put 1/2 cup low-fat mayonnaise, 4 teaspoons, Dijon or normal (Dijon preferred) mustard, and 1 tablespoon honey. Mix well. 

Directions:


  1. Cook the frozen vegetables according to package. Drain well. 
  2. Return the vegetables to the pan and add the honey mustard dipping sauce. 
  3. Heat until hot.
  4. Enjoy!

* You can use any fresh vegetables you want (ex: broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, and/or onions) and the directions will be the same. It probably tastes better though. 
Ingredients:
  • Frozen loose-pack vegetables or mixed vegetables*
  • 1/3 cup double cheddar cheese (or Velveeta)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry taco seasoning mix

Directions:
  1. Place frozen vegetables in a medium saucepan following the package directions. Drain well.
  2. Return vegetables to pan adding the cheese and taco seasoning. 
  3. Heat until hot stirring so it doesn't burn. 
  4. ​Enjoy!

* You can use any fresh vegetables you want (ex: broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, and/or onions) and the directions will be the same. It probably tastes better though
Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen loose pack vegetable or mixed vegetable bag*
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce​​

Directions:

  1. Cook the frozen vegetables according to package. Drain well. 
  2. Return vegetables to pan and add the soy sauce and marmalade.
  3. Heat until hot.
  4. Enjoy!

* You can use any fresh vegetables you want (ex: broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, and/or onions) and the directions will be the same. It probably tastes better though. 
Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen loose pack vegetable or mixed vegetable bag*
  • 1/3 cup ranch dressing

Directions:
  1. Cook the frozen vegetables according to package. Drain well. 
  2. Return vegetables to pan and add the ranch dressing
  3. Heat until hot.
  4. Enjoy!
