- 2 9” pie shells
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups coconut cream or 1/2 cup melded butter and 1 1/2 cup milk
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 F.
- Combine all the ingredients
- Put pie shells in pie pan and make them as fancy as you want
- Pour chocolate mix into pie shells
- Bake for 45 minutes
- ENJOY
Tips:
- I’m not a huge coconut fan, but I actually think this pie tastes better with coconut cream, plus that makes it dairy free and probably a little healthier (not that I’m worried about health, I mean, this recipe has 3 cups of sugar!)
- This is literally my favorite pie ever, it is just so incredibly awesome, but it’s also really really easy to make and hard to mess up. It tastes even better if you know why it’s called “Chocolate chess pie.” (I don’t actually know that, but you should find out why it’s called that.)
