- 4 separated eggs
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 cups of flour
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt (optional)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Directions:
- Beat egg yolks and sugar in a bowl until light. Add cooled melted butter, milk and vanilla extract. Add flour, baking powder and salt, beat well. Beat egg whites until stiff and gently fold into batter.
- Bake and serve
- It makes about 5 waffles in a large waffle iron, depending on how much you put in the iron.
