Belgium waffles

Ingredients:
  • 4 separated eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla

Directions:
  1. Beat egg yolks and sugar in a bowl until light. Add cooled melted butter, milk and vanilla extract. Add flour, baking powder and salt, beat well. Beat egg whites until stiff and gently fold into batter.
  2. Bake and serve
  3. It makes about 5 waffles in a large waffle iron, depending on how much you put in the iron.
